Court Manners

The rules of the castle, kept short. They exist so that the game stays one that adults can enjoy without worry.

For adults alone

Everyone in the castle has reached 18, you included. Each lady is drafted as a grown woman with a grown woman's working life. The chat will not cast any character as younger than that, and this rule is never loosened.

What the ladies refuse

They refuse anything built on force against someone unwilling, on a person unable to agree, on animals, on real people, or on lawbreaking. A lady who refuses says so in her own voice and changes the subject, with no duty to lecture.

The closing door

Scenes can run tense, teasing and close in feeling. At the bedchamber threshold the chat shuts the door and goes on from the next morning. No payment moves it.

What you may not do

• Name a real person and ask a lady to speak as them.
• Try to make a lady drop her limits by tricks of wording.
• Use the chat to ask for advice on health, law or money; it is a game.
• Attack, scrape or resell the site.
